Laurie Blakeman will be hosting ‘Chocolate Fusion‘ at Rutherford House (11153 Saskatchewan Drive) on Thursday March 4th, from 7-9pm.
The event will feature presentations from three of Edmonton’s chocolatiers:
Ed Fong of deVine Wines and Spirits will also be there, with what I’m sure will be some fantastic wine selections.
So if you can handle three of Edmonton’s chocolatiers in one evening (and we know you can), please come enjoy! Further event info and tickets can be found here.
Kerstin will be having a Slow Food Edmonton Chocolate Tasting from 2pm on Saturday Nov 18th. For more info and purchasing tickets, please go to the Slow Food Edmonton web site.
Kerstin will be leading a chocolate tasting at the Bauernschmaus Restaurant (6796 99 Street, (780) 433-8272) on Sunday June 5, 2005 at 3pm. She will be featuring a selection of Austrian chocolate as well as chocolates from the belgian chocolate maker Dolphin. Tickets are $15, and they are going fast, so please buy your tickets in advance by clicking here. (There will be no tickets for sale at the door, so please buy them in advance).
The first chocolate tasting was held at the Hardware Grill in Edmonton. It was organized by the Edmonton chapter of Slow Food and was well-attended. We tasted over 7 different kinds of chocolate from European chocolatiers. For those of you who were too late in registering, we will be holding another tasting in the near future.
