    Hi Kerstin,

I am contacting you as the “Chocolate Expert”! I have some clients (family of 4 – children 13 & 14) who were supposed to attend the chocolate making atelier at Maison Cailler next week, but have been “bumped” due to the workshop being oversold to a school group in Swiss German. I just read your article on Bern, and was wondering if you knew if any of these chocolate makers, or any local confiseries in Bern, offered an introduction to chocolate making??

Let me know if you have any ideas. I look forward to reading more about chocolate on your site!

    Best regards,

    Hello Kerstin,
I’m a baking and pastry student who is currently doing an internship in Germany. In a couple weeks, I’m planning to travel to Bern to visit some friends, and one of my goals while I’m there is to look at some specialty chocolate shops and hopefully learn more about working with chocolate. You mentioned in this article that there are numerous shops you really enjoyed visiting; would you mind telling me the names of some you’d recommend going to? I’ve already made a note to visit Confiserie Beeler.
    Thank you! Lydia
